Beautiful Ivy is on her way over and I am drinking a chocolate martini in anticipation of her. You know what? This song that we wrote was so fucking good. It's been in my head for the past two days straight-- I can't stop humming the fucking thing. It was definitely one of the best lyris I ever wrote-- I wrote all the lyrics to that myself. Of course he came up with the melody, which was totally beauitful. When we worked well together, we really worked well together. There are several good examples of that. We should have been brill building writers. Why didn't we ever record that fucking song? Why didn't we ever record anything? This is something I am endlessly upset about. Wish me luck on my jazz club audition tomorrow night. I have to blow the roof off the place. And if I do, you can come see me pour my heart into jazz standards opnce a week.
