I have decided that Alamada is the most beautiful woman in the world. Besides Ivy, that is.

We had so much fun last night at the Encore Lounge. I am glad I have a close friend who is as big a dork as I am. We held hands while listening to Carol O�Shaunesy�oohing and awe-ing over old romantic standards.

Strangely, Carol opened her set with Where Or When which is the exact song Alamada and I opened our show with a couple weeks ago.

And when Carol sang, �The clothes you�re wearing are the clothes you wore,� she gestured to me and winked.

And the thing is, the clothes I was wearing were the clothes I wore at my last show�I had on my purple dress with the bell sleeves and rope sash.

And THEN, the second song Carol sang was Ain�t Misbehaven.

And that was the second song Alamada and I had done at our show.

We both got serious chills and decided that this must be some sort of sign. Of what I am not sure. I�ll figure it out.

I sang two songs-- Blues in the Night and Old Devil Moon and I got tons of tips and free drinks.

Alamada sang Old Black Magic and I�m Always True to You in My Fashion and she looked so hott and sounded so good. She got tons of tips and free drinks as well.

We basically owned the room.

Go us.

By the time we left we were both ridiculously inebriated. I stumbled into a cab, and passed out on the way home but woke up just in time to say to the cabbie,

Hey, that�s my house!

Made it upstairs and passed out again promptly whilst watching taped episodes of Daria.

And guess how much money I spent yesterday for that fantastic evening? Go �head. Guess.

TWENTY DOLLARS.
