Hey�just so you can get a feel for what the show looks like, here�s some photos of the Broadway revival of Cabaret. Just by looking at them you can get a sense of the seediness and debauchery of the time period, and the play�s central theme�the erosion of ethics by decadence and apathy.  
Above is Alan Cumming as the MC. I have become obsessed with both the actor and the character lately.  And above is Alan again with the kit Kat girls. They all look so drug addled and depraved. I love it.  This is one of the Kit Kat girls. In the Broadway revival, they all had to double as the orchestra as well, meaning not only did they have to be able to sing and dance, but be proficient on a musical instrument. That�s one hell of a tall casting order. I can't wait to post pictures of my own production. The dates by the way are May 9th, 10, 15th, 16th, and 17th. If you're anywhere near the Boston area you should come. i'll post more information as it gets closer.
