So...

I think I am out of this particular funk. It's such a relief when you were in a terrible awful place and suddenly you realize you're out of it.

So I'm done with Molassass Swamp and now am in Lollipop Forrest. I've gotten my Get Out of Jail Free card and am back buying property. I'm climbing the ladders instead of sliding down the chutes (although to be perfectly honest, I always thought the chutes looked way more fun, which is probably why I usually lost that game.)

Nobody's sinkin' my battleship, baby. Not today, anyway.

Got off work and strolled over to Coolidge Corner where I renetd a couple flix and shopped at Trader Joe's. Bought myself some chicken and veggies and shrimp and organic eggs and Havarti.

Right now I'm cooking up a free range burger and then I'll settle down and eat my dinner and read, and maybe later watch some movies.

I wonder why my moods jump up and down so. Whatever-- I won't think about that today. I'm just thankful I no longer feel like my heart is in a metal vice.
