To think of the sum of your life�to think of time itself in a strictly linear fashion misses the point entirely. Life is like a symphony and each moment an individual note. Themes repeat and passages of time layer on top of one another to create resonant chords. You never really lose anything. It�s all embedded in the melody. I�ve also just been thinking about how I always had a problem integrating my head voice (the opera sounding one) with my belt voice (the lower bluesy one) and I think maybe that�s metaphorical for my previous inability to integrate my higher intellectual spiritual self with my physical guttural desire driven self. And over the past year I�ve gotten much better at mixing my two voices, so I wonder what that says�
