I am in Rochester now, visiting my family for a week-- it's so nice to get away sometimes, even though I love my life in Boston. I just had a voice lesson with this amazing woman and I learned more in an hour about how to sing than I have in a lifetime. I actually hit a high G sharp without any effort or strain whatsoever. After the lesson I had lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant with my Mom and my sister Bethy. Today is Ivy's birthday. She is a Gemini with a Cancer Moon and a leo ascendent. I am so ga ga over her. I'm going to call her right now.
