Last night Matt and I went to the Harvard xmas party. We both got all dolled up, and looked very attractive if I do say so. He seriously wowed everyone there including the craggiest of old boss types. I am seriously in awe of him and so proud of him. He�s brilliant and funny and such a great listener�he knows how to draw people out and make them feel comfortable. And he�s so goddamn handsome.

When we got home we smoked some dope and had a drink. Then we got into bed and gave each other some xmas presents. I gave him an Otis Redding CD and a certificate I made for a night out on the town (the certificate was signed by me, Neil Diamond, and God.) He gave me an appointment for a manicure and the most beautiful mix I�ve ever gotten in my life.

The mix is basically about us�it includes songs that have to do with key moments in our relationship and how he feels about me. I started crying when I opened it:

We made out for a really long time and then we talked for awhile and then we made love and finally very late we went to bed.

I�m so happy and so in love right now. And it�s almost Christmas.

When we go home over break, I get my ring.
