This is truly one of the weirdest, most interesting, most original, quirky, funny, sad films I have seen in awhile. Angus brought it home from the video store and my expectations weren�t super high�figured it would just be another boring slasher film. Well, that�ll teach me to ever underestimate Angus�he did after all introduce me to Dellamorte Dellamore, which is truly one of my favorite movies (god damn�t, I gotta watch that again.) of all time. Lately Angus�s video picks have been incredibly good�off the beaten path, thought provoking, and wonderfully weird�kinda like him. Le sigh. All right Anna, shut up and stop being fucking 13 years old.

If you haven�t seen May, SEE IT. In a tangential way it reminded me of Donnie Darko-- just in that both films are an amalgamation of a lot of different influences and genres, but the whole adds up to more than the sum of its parts and is something totally unique.
