In the past couple days I've had some excellent conversations with close friends, 90% of which began with--

ME: Blah blah blah

OTHER PERSON: [long pause] You're fucking joking, right?

I am really glad my sister is here. I am really glad that I sat on the floor with her all last night, eating junk food and watching Felicity and giggling and talking about everything.

I am really glad that I'm auditioning for a play next week.

I'm really glad that I'm going to see Hedwig tomorrow and then to a piano bar to sing some showtunes.

I'm really glad tomorrow is pay day.

I'm really glad that Jonee took me to Foleys a couple days ago, somewhere I've never been. Their jukebox rivals Charlie's as being one of the best ever. And I'm glad Debbie met up with us and that she's back from Europe. I'm glad I got to hear all her stories.

And I'm glad about the decisions I've come to. I'm praying for the discipline to stick to them.
