Outside smells of freshly cut grass and new summer rain. Lightening illuminates the sky and the trees sway, their shadows dancing across the shiny pavement.

Today we pulled weeds from the garden. The rosebushes are growing back, their roots foraging new paths in the fertile earth. Soon they will bloom, dotting the lawn in shades of red and blush.

Most nights the stars appear keeping silent vigil over the suburban landscape.

I wouldn�t want to live here, but it�s lovely to visit.

I�m going to drink some more wine and take part in the thunderstorm.
