I'll get right back to the saga shortly, but... on the topic of Valentines Day:

I am in my office crying right now.

Why? Because I am, when it really comes down to it, a complete and total sap.

Today my department had a bake-off. Yes, I am serious. And of course, being Harvard and all, people couldn't just make Dunkin Hines cakes in the shape of a heart or something. They had to be all ivy about it. One person baked a SEVEN LAYER CAKE. I shit you not.

You gotta love working at a place like this.

I was upstairs stuffing my face for like ten minutes. I come back to my office only to find a huge bouquet of pink tulips with a pink sticky attached to the plastic wrapping. On the pink sticky is written,

He came all the way down here to put a bouquet of flowers on my messy diet-coke-can covered desk.

Sometimes, I really really really really love that boy.

Scratch that.

All the time. No matter what.

And moments like this is why Valentines Day is not lame.

I don't know how I can possibly get any work done for the rest of the day.

Sometimes you realize just how much a person means to you, and you realize that all the bitching and complaints you have about that person aren't what really and truly matters. Because that person is the kind of person that will take the T all the way down to where you work just to tell you he loves you.

I want to go home and do some serious kissing.
