Do you remember that episode of The Brady Bunch where Jan makes up this fake boyfriend named George Glass? She riggs it so that her phone will ring and she can pretend she's having conversations with him in front of her family, so they won't think she 's such a *loser* for not having a boyfriend. Sometimes I catch myself doing that-- not in real life, but in my head. Making up people or situations that didn't really happen, to make myself feel like things aren't as shitty as they actually are.I don't do this very often. Not anymore. But I did it yesterday. The Brady Bunch. What a lot of fucked up sociopaths.
