In preparation for this evenings gazillionth viewing of ROTK, I watched The Two Towers yet againthe extended edition, of course. So good. So fucking good. I love it when Sam saves Frodo from the Nazgul. And I love the extra scenes involving Boromir, Faramir, and Denathor. Im meeting Matt at 5PM at Boston Beer Works and then its off to the movies. In other news, Im working all day today as I do once every two months which basically means its MUSIC DAY when I get to download shit from kazzaa and decide whether I want to buy it or not. Stuff from the latest Shins record? Ummmmm FUCKING AMAZING!!!!! Ditto Iron & Wine and The Rapture. Right now Im just listening to the Beatles: Two of us riding nowhere spending someones hard earned payYou and me Sunday driving not arriving on our way back home I dont why this song always makes me so terribly sad. Sad isnt the word. Nostalgic and melancholy and wistful and such. Even though its written in the present tense, it seems evocative to me of something that has past, that grows hazier until eventually it blurs and fades altogether. OKnow Im crying. Im incredibly lame. Thanks, Beatles.
