Christmas has come and gone and it was as cozy and warm as a Hallmark Card. I mean that in the best possible sense.

I'm enjoying just being here so much that I don't even feel like writing. It's too bad-- so much is happening and is worth talking about but I'd rather just experience it as opposed to describing/analyzing.

Everything becomes a lot clearer to me when I come home.

Today I cleaned out the basement and found a bunch of my father's old writing and tapes (he used to record tapes as letters and send them to people.) Listening to his voice and reading all his notes for novels and stories was really powerful. I still miss him so much.

OK-- now I'm going to go take a shower and get ready to go to Sonnenberg Gardens.

I love being on holiday from real life. Being at home is like living a nice long dream.

I really really really love my cats.
