I promise that tonight or tomorrow I'll get back to the apartment saga, but right now I just want to mention that I saw Donny Darko yesterday at the Brattle and today I finished reading "The Beach" by Alex Garland, and I am deeply affected by both right now in a way that I have not been affected by film or literature in a long time. The two seem somehow related and it feels like no small coincidence that they happened into my life at the same time. Also, I am drunk right now. At 3:51 PM on a Sunday. And I just ate a McDonalds double cheesebuger. So much for moderation.
